The real estate market along Scenic Highway 30A, home to upscale planned communities such as WaterColor, WaterSound, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, continues to heat up.

Following are some interesting sales statistics covering a 30-day period, ending on Jun 26, that Latitude Resort Properties recently compiled from the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service. If you are looking to buy, or considering selling, this data can be quite useful.

DCWAF Raises $1.425 Million for Children in Need

Congratulations to the staff, board of directors and volunteers of the Destin Charity Wine Auction for the most successful auction yet, which helped raise a record breaking $1.425 million. We’ll gladly raise a glass to that number!

The locally based foundation, which hosted its annual auction this spring at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, raises funds for children in need living on the Emerald Coast. This year’s sold-out event treated more than 500 guests to an unparalleled wine and culinary event that included a silent and live auction. On the block for a good cause were unique dining experiences, usurious vacation packages and, of course, incredible wine.
